Abstract

Invitromaturation(IVM)andinvitrofertilization(IVF)technologiesarefacingwithgrowingdemandsofolderwomentoconceive.Althoughovarianstemcells(OSCs)ofolderwomenarecapableofproducinginvitrofreshoocyte-likecells(OLCs),suchcellscannotrespondtoIVMandIVFduetothelackofgranulosacellsrequiredfortheirmaturation.Follicularrenewalisalsodependentonsupportofcirculatingbloodmononuclearcells.Theyinduceintermediarystagesofmeiosis(metaphaseIchromosomalduplicationandcrossover,anaphase,telophase,andcytokinesis)innewlyemergingovariangermcells,asforthefirsttimedemonstratedhere,induceformationofgranulosacells,andstimulatefolliculargrowthanddevelopment.ApretreatmentofOSCculturewithmononuclearcellscollectedfrombloodofayounghealthyfertilewomanmaycausedifferentiationofbipotentialOSCsintobothdevelopinggermandgranulosacells.Asmallbloodvolumereplacementmayenabletreatmentofovarianinfertilityinvivo.Thetransferredmononuclearcellsmaytemporarilyrejuvenatevirtuallyalltissues,includingimprovementofthefunctionofendocrinetissues.FormationofnewfolliclesandtheirdevelopmentmaybesufficientforIVMandIVF.Thenovelproposedinvitroapproachesmaybeusedasasecondpossibility.Infertilityofhumanmalesaffectsalmostahalfoftheinfertilitycasesworldwide.Smallbloodvolumereplacementfromyounghealthyfertilemenmayalsobeeasyapproachfortheimprovementofspermqualityinolderorotheraffectedmen.Inaddition,bodyrejuvenationbysmallbloodvolumereplacementfromyounghealthyindividualsofthesamesexcouldrepresentadeclineofinvitromethodologyinfavorofinvivotreatmentforhumanfunctionaldiseases.Hereweproposeforthefirsttimethatbloodmononuclearcellsareessentialforrejuvenationofthosetissues,whereimmunesystem
